OpenEPIE Terms of Service

The purpose of these terms of service is to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the company and users in relation to the use of digital content (Content) and services provided online by OpenEPIE. By using our services, you agree to these terms of service, privacy policy. OpenEPIE discloses and complies with the privacy policy. Matters not specified in these terms of service shall be governed by Republic of Korea’s related laws or commercial practices.
OpenEPIE allows members to print all these terms of service and to check the contents of these terms of service during the transaction process.
Membership
Membership is concluded when the “user” agrees to the terms of service and applies for membership, and OpenEPIE approves the application. OpenEPIE may withhold approval if there are no service-related facilities or if there is a technical or business problem.
The following information must be included in the membership application form.
– E-mail address
– Password
– Country
The following information is optional
– Carrer
In principle, OpenEPIE accepts membership registration of “user”. However, OpenEPIE may not accept the application for any of the following.
– If the applicant for membership has previously lost membership in accordance with these terms of service.
– If you are not a real person or if you use someone else.
– If false information is provided or the information provided by OpenEPIE is not provided.
Membership may be limited or suspended in the following reasons.
– If false information is registered when applying for membership.
– In case the member does not fulfill the obligations borne by the member in relation to the service usage fee of OpenEPIE and other service use of OpenEPIE on the due date.
– Threatening e-commerce order, such as interfering with the use of OpenEPIE services by others or stealing the information.
– In the case of acting against the law of these terms of service, or against public order and morals
After OpenEPIE limits or suspends membership, if the same form is repeated twice or more or if is not completed within 30 days, OpenEPIE may lose the membership.
Member’s rights and responsibility
Members can view and modify their personal information at any time through the personal information management screen. Members may request withdrawal from OpenEPIE at any time, and OpenEPIE will process the withdrawal immediately.
Member is responsible for managing “ID” and “Password” of member, and it should not be used by a third party. If you recognize that your “ID” and “Password” have been stolen or used by a third party, you must immediately notify OpenEPIE and follow the instructions of OpenEPIE.
(If member don’t notify above situation or don’t follow the instructions, OpenEPIE is not responsible for any disadvantages.)
Member should not conduct the following
– Write false information when applying or changing
– Use of other people’s information
– Changes in information posted on OpenEPIE
– Transmission or posting of information (such as computer programs) that may cause harm to others
– Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of OpenEPIE and other third parties
– Acts that damage the reputation of OpenEPIE and other third parties or interfere with their work
– An act of disclosing or posting obscene or violent words or texts, images, sounds, or other information against public order and morals on the site of OpenEPIE.
– Other illegal or unfair acts
Contents
OpenEPIE will try to make contents easy, accurate, and helpful. However, the contents may have inaccurate information. Whenever we recognize that the information is wrong, we will modify contents. So, it is recommended that contents be checked again and used for reference only.
In principle, content service is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, OpenEPIE may temporarily suspend the provision of content services in the event of maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication facilities such as computers, communication disruptions, or significant operational reasons.
OpenEPIE may change the content service provided for operational and technical needs if there is a significant reason. When changing the content, usage method, and usage time of the content service, OpenEPIE posts the reason for the change, the content service to be changed for more than 7 days before the change. OpenEPIE compensates for damages suffered by the user due to the change of service.
Copyrights
All copyrights and other intellectual property rights about contents belong to OpenEPIE or Partner. So, you cannot copy, upload, download, or share content without permission. If you need permission about it, then please leave a comment on content.
(In no case does copyright protection for an original work of authorship extend to any idea, procedure, process, system, method of operation, concept, principle, or discovery, regardless of the form in which it is described, explained, illustrated, or embodied in such work.)
OpenEPIE obtains permission from the “user” when using the copyrighted works of the “user”.
Privacy
OpenEPIE may collect the minimum information necessary for “Users” to use the content. Users who applied for inquiries OpenEPIE value the truthful content.
When OpenEPIE collects personal information that can identify the user personally, it obtains the consent of the user. OpenEPIE cannot use the information provided by the user in the application for use, etc. for any other purpose without the consent of user or provide it to a third party. However, except for the following cases.
– In cases where it is necessary for statistical writing, academic research, or market research, it is provided in a form in which a specific individual cannot be identified.
– When it is necessary for the settlement of charges according to the provision of contents.
– If it is necessary to verify your identity to prevent theft
– If there is unavoidable reason required by the provisions of the terms of service or laws
Provision of Information and Publication of Advertisements
OpenEPIE may provide “members” with various information deemed necessary by users while using content through notices. OpenEPIE may post advertisements on content screens, homepages, e-mails, etc. in connection with the provision of contents service. Members who receive e- mails with advertisements may refuse to receive them to OpenEPIE.
Indemnification Provision
OpenEPIE is exempted from responsibility for providing content if it cannot provide content due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
OpenEPIE is not responsible for the reliability and accuracy of the information, data, and facts posted by the member in relation to the content.
OpenEPIE is not responsible for any disputes between users or between users and a third party through content.
Modification
OpenEPIE may revise these terms of service from time to time to better reflect.
– Changes to be more in line with applicable laws
– New regulatory requirements
– Improvements or enhancements made to our services.
If OpenEPIE revises the terms of service, the date of application and the reason for the revision are specified, and the current terms of service are notified on the initial screen of the service from 7 days before the date of application to a considerable period after the date of application.
When OpenEPIE revises the terms of service, after notifying the revised terms of service, it checks whether the “user” agrees to the application of the revised terms of service. If the “user” does not agree to the application of the revised terms of service, OpenEPIE or “user” may terminate the content use agreement. At this time OpenEPIE compensates for damages suffered by the “user” due to the termination of the contract.
